Pruina, a frost giant battle-sorceress, has big plans. Aiding her oafish jarl to best the fools who challenge him grew tiresome ages ago, so after striking a deal with a stone giant druid south of her home, she established a hidden base in these caves.

Marplott, a gnome mage, heard rumors of “giants and guardians” and decided to investigate – or interfere. Despite his experience, Marplott is now stuck in the caverns; he’d appreciate being rescued.
