Mini-Dungeon for 4–5 characters of level 13
In a secluded mountain valley life goes on as it has for centuries. Recently, however, the farmers’ idyllic existence has been threatened by a creature, which survivors describe as a fusion of owl and lion, that comes in the night to hunt down livestock.
But there is more to this strange predator than meets the eye: Among the ragged mountain peaks is an ancient monastery, nestled right in the cliffside, and it is here than the creature’s trail leads.
It seemed to be a simple monster extermination assignment, but it remains to be seen whether it’s the party or their enemy who’ll have a true Cliffside Hoot!
