Designed to complement Rise of the Drow, this adventure takes place deep within the Underworld, near the drow capital of Holoth.
The Academy of Shadow, a prestigious wizardry school in Holoth, is known for producing powerful spellcasters. While most students remain within its dark halls, some travel under a guardian’s watch to a remote outpost called the Penumbra Enclave.
There, an unexpected alliance unfolds — a coven of Upperworlder hags tutors select students in exchange for learning rare drow magic. Whether the heroes aim to gather intelligence on Holoth or seize valuable drow-made magic items, this field trip may prove far more dangerous than anticipated.
