An evening of pleasant distraction during a winter storm turns mysteriously treacherous as the plot threads of Chapter 1 of The Red Tree of Grudges Adventure Arc come spiraling together. 

Mayor Igor Leonid hosts what he expects to be an evening of merriment (and a little politicking) to make an impression on an Imperial inspector while waiting out a winter storm. However, strange omens soon give way to very tangible dangers aimed squarely at the host himself.
