From kraken-plagued shores to undead rulers, cursed bloodlines, fish-born regents, and magical deceptions, the imperial lineage reflects a nation shaped by ambition, sacrifice, sorcery, and civil war. This living timeline outlines the most notable reigns in Klavekian history, leading up to the current ruler, King Tokolvor Klavek XIII.
Founding and the Dvagaslov Princes (-520 to -350)
- ~-520 to -490: Years of the Angry Sea – The Kraken terrorizes the eastern coast.
- ~-500: Prince Yuri Dvagaslov, founder of Mohkba, establishes the Sophianeum. This year marks the official founding of Klavek.
- -495: Construction of the Emerald Fortress begins.
- -492: Death of Prince Yuri. His descendants usher in the age of the Dvagaslovs:
- Draco I (the Prince who kissed the Claw) submits to the Saatman Empire
- Draco II (the Dragonslayer) rebels and defeats Saatman
- Draco III (the Traitor Prince) attempts to restore Saatman
- Yaroslaw, the Witch (founded Alvarov’s Monastery)
The Shadow Years and the Rise of the Tsars (-350 to -85)

- A silent ruler
- A mechanical construct impersonating a tsar
- Yevgeni IX, a half-elf, sparks the Elfson War, leading to the Second Holy Law:
- The ruler must be born of a full-blooded human woman
- Must be alive (and never dead for over two days)
- May not make pacts with outsiders
The Return of the Tokolvors (950 to Present)
- Alexei III to V, Yuri I, and others rule through relative peace and splendor
- The Troubles (civil war) ends in 1077
- The Prophecy names House Tokolvor as future rulers
