Gladior Wispre-Asako, a renowned arena champion and master swordsmith, rose too high and drew too much attention. So she was removed. Not executed. Not exiled.
Forgotten.
No one knows when it happened. Years ago? Decades? Longer?
Now the party is sent to find her and bring her back alive.
Adventure Description
The trail leads to a subterranean river that serves as the Vault’s entrance. Strange magic transforms those who enter, forcing them through impossibly narrow passages before depositing them deep within the dungeon—disoriented and exposed .
Inside, the Vault is designed to disorient and destroy:
- A ghostly knight bound to a water elemental charges across the battlefield, striking from any direction
- Creatures mimic the party, twist perception, and weaponize confusion
- Illusions conceal enemies that flank and divide the group
- Undead constructs break apart into multiple threats as the fight escalates
At the center lies the truth:
Wispre-Asako was not simply imprisoned. Her spirit has been bound into her blade, Raspadera—aware, calculating, and no longer entirely what she once was .
Freeing her may complete the mission.
It may also unleash her.
