Effects The lost soul haunt occupies a space in the middle of the Mangrove Maze where the vegetation is thick enough to create a maze-like effect. While in the vicinity of the haunt, creatures must make a DC 20 Intelligence check each day or they keep wandering in the maze of trees and grass near the lost soul haunt, always staying within 250 feet (and all the while, the ghost that fuels the lost soul haunt remains within 30 feet).
Destruction: A DC 20 Sense Motive check reveals that the ghost is looking for some kind of sign or path out of the Mangrove Maze. The lost soul haunt can be destroyed by marking an exit out of the maze that the wandering ghost can follow. Flags, bread crumbs, markers, a map, or even talking to the apparition and telling it to follow can help the ghost leave the area. When found, the ghost follows the directions and within 1 round after exiting the Mangrove Maze, the lost soul haunt is destroyed.
