It’s hard enough for a church or charitable organization to raise funds in Mohkba without having to worry about theft. Several resourceful organizations have taken to outfitting them with more and more elaborate locks and safeguards, but one organization tops them all. The burgeoning Church of The Natural Force use a simple box and a simple lock, but they safeguard the money itself. Anything valuable deposited in an alms box trap are magically protected, causing would-be thieves and their friends to become racked with gut-wrenching pains until the money is returned. Even after the money is returned, the pains continue, unabated, for an additional hour as penance for their evil deed. Many other shrines and temples have begun to petition the Church of the Natural Force for designs to build more alms box traps, but so far the plans to create these devices are a guarded secret.
